CONSULTANT CONTEST

I've set some new goals for my business and our team:  One of them is for everyone to reach mentor by April or May -- to make things REALLY FUN, I'm running a contest -- just for our team!  Here it is:
The top two consultants who are at or above the mentor level and make the MOST team sales in April-May and June combined will get a FREE Cansolidator and a FREE YOGURT pantry can of your choice.  AND ANYONE who reaches mentor for the first time will get 10 FREE catalogs!

It's not hard at all to reach mentor -- all you need is ONE LARGE party, 2 Medium parties, or 3-4 Small parties equaling $3000 in team sales for a single month!  That's It!  I'm giving you plenty of time to work on it and I can't wait to see who gets the goods!!

(please note, this contest is only for consultants who are in my downline, Consultant Id: 1493)  See: myfamilythrives.shelfreliance.com

New BULK Orders

Okay, I'm trying something new on a monthly basis!  Here's a copy of the letter I just sent to all my customers:

I'm so excited to tell everyone about the monthly BULK orders I'll be starting.  Here's how it works:

I will announce 1 or 2 specially reduced-priced foods for the month.  You can call in your order or email me the number you would like.  Because I will be putting in a bulk order (around the 27th of the month), the price will be even lower than individual cans -- thus passing the savings on to you!

So what is the exciting food for the month of April?  We'll start with one that everyone loves -- STRAWBERRIES!

If you pick up at my house:
#10 can:  $17.16 (reg. $26.69) plus .08 tax and shipping* (see below)

If you have delivered to your house:
#10 can:  $20.02 (reg. $26.69) plus tax/shipping** (see below)
Case of 6 cans:  $102.02 (reg. $140.16) note: this works out being $17.16/can

*Shipping price will depend on the number of people and quantity ordered, but it will not exceed $16 for the entire order.  ie. if 4 people order, it will be $4 shipping.  If 8 people order, it will be $2 shipping, etc.

**If you ship to your house, tax is determined by zip code, and shipping is determined by price (ie. under $70 is 6.99 shipping, up to orders over $190 which is $15.99 shipping)

If you pick up at my house you can pay by check or cash.  If you deliver to your house you can pay by credit card.

ENJOY!!!

************
Sometimes people don't want to think about all the things they have to get for their food storage.  This will help them focus on ONE item a month.  They can even pass sign-ups around to friends and family.

Don't forget to set up a party under your events -- this way you can collect host benefits for the order.

Party Give-aways

I've seen some really great ideas for give-aways at parties.  Here is what I used at a party yesterday.  The winner chose the emergency sample gift: MRE, 10-in-1 tool & pocket survival guide.

I always use my hostess or party benefits to pay for the gifts and I try not to go over $5.  Depending on the size of the party I'll draw 1-3 names using this questionaire I pass out at the beginning.

The drawing gives you the chance to collect people's email, ph. no. and areas of interest.  This is especially helpful when you want to enter a customer after the party who hasn't put in an order yet.  It also facilitates following up with guests who didn't place an order at the party. It gives the shy ones the chance to share their interest with you too (occasionally someone will check interest in hosting a party without saying anything at the party).

And, let's face it, winning is FUN!
